My siblings and I first met Patti Sullivan when we were searching for an assisted living home for my mother. It was a difficult decision for us, and as the primary caregiver, I felt particularly guilty in making this move; however, Patti put my siblings and me at ease. She was very personable, and she impressed us with her knowledge and compassion.
We quickly knew that she genuinely cared very much about our mother and our happiness with the situation. She was very empathetic to the stress and pain my siblings and I were initially feeling, and she responded to our concerns in a way that made us feel so much better. Patti is also very personable.
During our initial tour of the facility, we were impressed that she knew every resident by name. She has a great deal of knowledge relative to dementia/Alzheimer’s. Patti knows the many ways these facilities operate to provide stimulation for residents in order to enhance their quality of life. After my mother moved into the assisted living complex, Patti kept in touch with us. This included sending us pictures and videos so that we could rest assured that our mother was happy and doing well.
I highly recommend Patti’s professional assistance in placing loved ones in a community that is best for them. Her knowledge of issues involving the elderly, such as dementia, and the communities that provide care, combined with her sincere compassion and personality, make her the perfect choice.
